Description: A Turning Engineer job in Anderson, IN is available through Belcan with one of our key manufacturing clients. This is a direct hire opportunity with full benefits. Qualified candidates will have a BS degree in Engineering along with 3-5 years of manufacturing experience and CNC programming.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Develop processes on existing and new automated equipment.
Set up the sequence of the machine operations and optimize the total time required to process a component.
Production support of equipment to optimize uptime and prevent future breakdowns though our preventative maintenance system.
Launch new turning lines and assist in the transfer to production.
Oversee line rebuilds and replacements.
Design tooling and new equipment.
EXPERTISE: Equipment Design, CNC Programming, Test Equipment and Measuring Devices, Cost Reduction & Avoidance, Productivity & Efficiency Improvement, Planning (Capacity / Engineering Study), project management, lean manufacturing.
QUALIFICATIONS: Industry Software: CAD, CNC Programming, and others, General Software: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point & Acrobat.
Bachelor of Science (Engineering) Mechanical/Electrical
3 - 5 years manufacturing experience
