Aerotek Industrial Engineer in Attica, Indiana

A growing company in Attica, IN, is actively hiring for an Industrial Engineer! This candidate will be the first Industrial Engineer at this plant location, and will have ample opportunity for growth and advancement within the organization. This person will work on the floor almost 100% of the time, and can expect to move into more of a continuous improvement role within the first year.

Job Description:

  • Identify bottlenecks and process issues in the plant.

  • Determine the most effective means to use capital, equipment, facilities, material, and people to make products efficiently.

  • Perform time studies, manufacturing line balancing, labor balancing, work flow, setup times, and creating Standard Work.

  • Support the safety performance team through the design of ergonomic solutions in various departments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering

  • 2-5 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer role and working in a fast paced environment (can include some internship)

  • Experience doing time studies, green road activities, and continuous improvement

  • Experience with Automotive (or other fast-paced industry) preferred but not required

  • Experience working in Union facility preferred but not required
