Texas Instruments Analog Design Engineer in Bangalore, Indiana

Description

Who are we and what do we do?

In MCU group we design microcontrollers targeted for industrial and automotive markets. Analog group is responsible for developing very low power, low cost and high performance analog. We design all types of analog and mixed signal IP’s like data converters (ADC and DAC), power management (LDO, DCDC, and supply supervisor/monitor), clocking, opamps, comparators, references, analog front ends. All these IPs have to co-exist and meet performance in presence of large digital logic and its associated noise. We strive to continually differentiate our products with best-in-class analog and raising the bar for competition. Our previous released product was dual core CPU with quad 16bit SAR ADC (1 st and only one in industry) enabling customers to achieve unparalleled system performance.

What will you be doing in this role? (Responsibilities)

Senior analog designer in the team working independently on development of high performance, low power analog IP building blocks embedded in TI’s MCU products.

  • Work with Systems Engineering Team to define and architect new products.

  • Design, supervision of layout, and verification of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits

  • Interacting with Product Engineering to characterize Silicon and transfer integrated circuits from design to production.

  • Work closely with Test Engineering to ensure proper test coverage of the product.

  • Interacting with Application Engineering to ensure successful use of products in the market place

What do we expect from you? (Mini Qualifications)

  • Experienced with IC design and full development cycle from definition through release to production.

  • Effective communication skills to interact with all stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of analog circuit design techniques, including but not limited to operational amplifiers, voltage/current references, data converters, oscillators, and switched-capacitor circuits is necessary

  • Knowledge of digital circuit design techniques, including but not limited to counters, timers, state-machines and combinational logic is also required

  • Must be highly focused and remain committed to obtaining closure on project goals.

  • Team and People Skills: The candidate should have good people skills to work closely with the layout, test and design team
