Category MarketingOverviewThe Graphic Design Specialist at Cook Medical understands the needs of the company and the customer to deliver branded collateral, such as print pieces, presentations, internal messaging documents, and other design solutions in support of those needs.ResponsibilitiesManage time and large work volume to ensure high productivity while maintaining company quality standardsCollaborate with initiators and multidisciplinary teams to execute creative solutionsContribute to the production of a high volume of transactional and maintenance-focused designWork as part of a project team to ensure the creation of effective materials that meet required time linesSeek and receive feedback from team members and customers to improve design and performanceUnderstand and develop design based on the Cook brand and voice to ensure integrity of our brand.Deliver objective design solutions that reflect the considerations of initiators while amplifying the message and purpose.Coordinate a range of visual media including photography, illustration, and written content to communicate effective initiativesGive input into the creative process, aligning with marketing operations and other creative teams within Cook.Must interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout the various levels of the global organization.Must have effective oral, written and presentation communication skillsMust be able to actively listen and have effective verbal and written communicationAbility to remain calm, and be flexible and receptive in fast paced situationsMaintain regular and punctual attendanceMust strictly adhere to safety requirementsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervisionMust have good organizational skillsQualificationsBachelor's degree preferred in art, fine arts, graphic design or advertisingProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator and InDesign programsAdaptability to new developments in graphic design and publishing softwareProficiency in Microsoft Office, including creating and editing Word and PowerPoint documentsQualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
