Solution Tree, Inc. Marketing Media Specialist in Bloomington, Indiana
The Marketing Media Specialist plays a vital role in audience development, collaborating with the team on the success of our campaign launches, products, and ongoing promotion of our authors, associates, and recognition programs. This person will play a key role in executing Marketing's webinar and podcast strategy, communicating with platform partners about upcoming campaigns, product launches, and cross-promoting Solution Tree's content across multiple communication channels.
This individual is highly efficient and organized, enjoys troubleshooting, works well under pressure, and is comfortable with multi-tasking. We are looking for a self-starter who?s always thinking ten steps ahead. A background in marketing is essential, and a love of podcasts and social media is a plus. This role will often serve as talent for the podcast and webinar moderator.
Manage a webinar calendar and a podcast calendar
Manage production of webinars and podcasts including coordinating with authors and associates and the production schedule
Track podcast marketing activities and collaborate with the senior data analyst to identify areas for improvement in audience acquisition
Analyze audience and performance data to give insights and recommend improvements
Specific Required Skills
Comfortable communicating complex ideas and interviewing our knowledgeable and highly skilled authors and associates
Demonstrated poise and confidence when on camera and/or on-air speaking to a K-12 educator community
Demonstrated proficiency with audio equipment necessary to record and produce podcasts
Working knowledge of media budgets and experimenting across new and existing media and marketing channels
Demonstrated ability to work within budgetary and time constraints
Demonstrated history of resourcefulness including overcoming obstacles to solve problems creatively
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organization skills
Meticulous attention to detail and quality
Demonstrated success in managing projects with multiple milestones is required. Two to four years of experience in a marketing agency role or media company is ideal. A degree in Media or Journalism is preferred for this role.
