The Quality Assurance Supervisor - Shop Floor’s primary role is to maintain appropriate oversight of cGMP processes to ensure the quality of produced pharmaceutical and medical device products.

This is a full-time salaried role. The shift is Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm.

The Bloomington Shop Floor QA group contributes to Catalent’s “Patient First” philosophy by helping to ensure quality products are manufactured and received on time. This in turn ensures our client’s ability to meet their manufacturing goals for patients around the world.

The Role

  • Managing and monitoring quality assurance personnel systems, providing oversight for processes and facilities to ensure regulatory compliance in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products and medical devices

  • Ensuring comprehensive technical and administrative review of the batch and analytical data generated by manufacturing and cGMP test laboratories relating to raw material, in-process and product release

  • Managing and monitoring final batch disposition of manufactured products and participating in investigations and corrective action identification and implementation process for OOS, OOT and Exceptions

The Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 3 years GMP experience or other regulated industry

  • 2 years providing quality assurance support to cGMP pharmaceutical production or other regulated industry

  • 0-1 years of leadership experience

  • Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements
