The Senior Engineer is a leader in the New Ventures team responsible for driving on-time programs aligned with the overall corporate technology strategy. The successful candidate will have prior experience in the medical device industry, strong project management skills, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and powerful communication skills to advance new knowledge and technologies into the company. Strong preference will be for candidates with experience in product life management software (Agile), process development, and sterilization.ResponsibilitiesLead large-scale or multiple projects or studies with a high degree of independenceContribute technical expertise and direction to Cook engineers and other company business functionsAssume responsibility for interpreting data, organizing, executing, and coordinating project activitiesProvide technical input on defining project priorities and company product goalsIdentify and solve function-level and team-level problemsAct as a mentor to other personnel in their teamsProvide technical and strategic input on managing company intellectual property relevant to area of workMust work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organizationMust strictly adhere to safety requirementsMaintain regular and punctual attendanceMust maintain company quality and quantity standardsMust have effective oral, written and presentation communication skillsAbility to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervisionAbility to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situationsMust have excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsQualificationsPhD in Engineering or Engineering Technology or Materials Science with 2 years relevant experience; orMS in same or MBA with 5 years relevant experience; orBS degree in same with 7 years relevant experienceExperience in communication and working with a wide variety of associatesExperience working independently and directing others towards a common goalExperience using analytical skills and problem solvingPhysical Requirements:Personal protective equipment including safety glasses, lab coat and gloves required in many areas associated with this positionSitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, etc.Works under general office environmental conditionsOptionsApply for this job online ApplyShareShare the job posting with a friend ReferSorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
