The Data Analytics and Reporting Analyst acts as a consultant to the Technology & Operations business groups to create analytics and updates to support the business.

The successful Data Analytics and Reporting Analyst:

  • Modifies, develops and works to automate new reports using Tableau, PEGA, MS Access, Visual Basic, MS Excel and MS SQL.

  • Designs and Develops Access databases for applications and business intelligence.

  • Develops and implements metrics for the business reporting based on analytical work that highlights improvement opportunities.

  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for the Operation related to metric reporting, trending, and process enhancements through utilization of existing tools and applications (Envision, PEGA, Business Objects, Access).

  • Analyzes complex data for reporting and/or performance (trend) analysis.

  • Partners with outside departments to create staffing and capacity models reporting as needed.

  • Produces and participates in the design, analysis and presentation of operations process metrics.

  • Produces yearly Annual Plans to feed the budget process

  • Works with business objects, working knowledge of relational databases, data warehouses / structures.

  • Works with business analyst and management to build operational data models.

  • Possesses the ability to critically think through problems and see it through to a resolution.

  • Is able to identify root causes and make sound recommendations to Management.

Requirements for Successful Job Performance:

  • Bachelor’s degree of Liberal Arts or Mathematics or High School Diploma and Work Experience equivalent in a field of Workforce Planning, Capacity Planning, Reporting or Metrics and Analytics.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with advanced Excel, MS Access, MS SQL, Business Objects and Tableau. Visual Basic is preferred.

  • Previous experience with data analysis, metrics, KPI, time studies and business modeling.

  • Strong written and verbal communications and analytical skills.

  • Attention to detail and organized.
