Human Resources Business Partner

As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will provide support to the Sales leaders and their teams within the Americas region based in our corporate office in Carmel, IN. You proactively provide consultation to leaders on human resources-related issues, acting as an employee champion and change agent and communicating needs to stakeholders and colleagues. You will seek to develop integrated solutions, leveraging data to drive decision making. You formulate partnerships across the HR function that deliver value-added service to your management teams and employees and reflect the business objectives of the organization. Your strong interpersonal, communication, change management and business partnership skills will shine in this role as you are constantly engaging with your business customers and working within a highly matrixed working environment.

What You Will Do:

  • You will flex your business acumen abilities and have a clear, comprehensive understanding of business strategy and positioning of HR strategy, translating strategy into action.

  • Leverage your significant knowledge of HR practices to drive organization capability and effectiveness daily including performance management, talent management, engagement, strategic workforce planning, organization design, change management, employee experience and more!

  • Contribute to the business strategy by partnering with business leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes

  • Lead strategies to forecast and plan talent pipeline requirements in line with the business strategy

  • Design and deploy long-term people strategies aligned with the strategic agenda

  • Enable business leaders to provide employees with development opportunities and ensure that they are able to meet current and future performance standards

  • Develop and promote feedback mechanisms for employees to influence Allegion’s culture and to facilitate continuous improvement

  • Provide expert advice and coaching to employees

  • Collaborate with leaders and HR colleagues to ensure that HR solutions are aligned with internal client needs

  • Maintain thought leadership on external HR practices, technologies, workforce trends

  • Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR operational plan and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives

  • Use data and problem-solving methodologies for continuous improvement

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or related field required

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Human Resources

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, understand trends, develop recommendations for action to address strategic gaps

  • Ability to manage a complex set of stakeholders through influencing and strong relationships with data and expertise

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills and experience working with global leaders and client groups

  • Effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

  • You have a demonstrated ability to drive change

  • Experience with current and emerging HR and collaboration technologies, such as Workday and Microsoft Teams

  • Experience with Merger & Acquisition work preferred

  • Knowledge of and experience in both corporate and manufacturing environments and matrix organization structures preferred
