Parkview Whitley Hospital-Rehab Therapy Rehab - Unscheduled, Days, days Posted 2018-11-06 Req # 138083 Must have a Masters degree in Speech/Language Pathology. Must be a licensed Speech/Language Pathologist in the State of Indiana by the Health Professions Bureau with ASHA certification preferred or be licensed as a Clinical Fellow in his/her Clinical Fellowship year by the State of Indiana. A Clinical Fellow (CFY) must be assigned to an Indiana State licensed/ASHA certified Speech/Language Pathologist. If employee is a CFY he/she must obtain state licensure within 18 months of initiation of the CFY. Must be certified in CPR by American Heart or American Red Cross or must become certified within 90 days of employment. Must maintain certification according to expiration date. Must have at least one year experience working within hospital setting or at a center where clinical contact consisted of a variety of speech/language disturbances occurring in both children and adults obtained within the previous year. In lieu of previous work experience must have verification of extensive supervised graduate clinical experience in evaluation and treatment of neurogenic communicative disorders in adults with completion of hospital or rehab center affiliation/internship of at least 8 weeks. Must be able to lift 50 pounds 100 pounds shared lifting and may be required to push up to 300 pounds. Must demonstrate knowledge of diagnostic testing instruments currently in use relative to speech/language disorders in children and adults.
