This is an exciting opportunity in Columbus, Indiana for a Senior Integration Developer. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

Ensures secure coding and UI standards and best practices are applied during development.

Provides input and contributes to the enhancement and maintenance of applications and programs.

Leads efforts to configures, analyzes, designs, develops, and maintains program code and applications.

Performs detailed and complex unit testing and secure code testing, and issues resolution.

Drives and supports the process for source code management.

Contributes to integration, systems, and performance testing and tuning of code.

Participates in peer secure code reviews.

Define and promote opportunities for re-usability of code, configurations, procedures, and techniques.

Identify the various components that needs to be deployed or configured in the target environments which includes Oracle SOA 11g/12c, (bpel, mediator, adapters, transformation), Oracle Service Bus11g/12c(OSB).

Ensure SOA/Integration and process design conforms to open standards such as BPMN 2.0 modeling standards, WS-BPEL standards, http 1.1, soap 1.2 and best practices.

Develop interfaces using SOA/Fusion Middleware suite of products that includes Oracle WebLogic, Oracle SOA Suite11g/12c and OSB, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), BPM, BPEL, XML, XSLT, XPath, JMS/AQ/MQ, Adapters, PL/SQL and J2EE/Java.

Develop and implement reusable technical frameworks such as Error Handling, Logging, Monitoring and Audit and Notification framework.

Define and implement Automated Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) Process, Tools and people for code build, deployment and migration process using scripts such as WLST, Ant, Python with IBM Rational or other tools.

Create configuration scripts (automation) for environment specific properties and automated integration testing scripts to verify/validate the deployment.

Identify and fix issues with Middleware environments in WebLogic domains Communicating and collaborating with Developers, Operations and customers.

Solution Configuration - Configures, creates and tests a solution for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications using Cummins IT processes, standards and tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.

Data Modeling - Creates, writes and tests data models, test scripts and build scripts using Cummins IT processes, standards and tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.

Performance Tuning - Conceptualizes, analyzes and solves application, database and hardware problems using Cummins IT processes, standards and tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.

Solution Validation Testing - Validates a configuration item change or solution using the IT Operating Model (ITOM), including the SDLC standards, tools and metrics, to ensure that it works as designed and meets customer requirements.

Manages complexity - Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required.

Experience:

Significant relevant experience required. 5-7 years of experience.

6 Experienced in developing (build/deployment/testing) integration components using Oracle SOA Suite 11g/12c, Oracle Service Bus 11g/12c, Oracle Data integrator 11g/12c.

6 years of using strong Java/J2EE technologies.

5 years in any of the scripting language like ANT, PYTHON, WLST automation including WebLogic administration experience.

4 years of experience in strong Oracle SQL and PLSQL development skills.

3 years in development experienced in setting up Continuous Integration(CI), Continuous Deployment (CD) environment for SOA 11gcomponents with build/deployment/testing.

1 years in API Management, Cloud/Mobile Integration, iPaaS solution.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
