ENGINEER DRAFTSMAN (CRANE-18-0990-W):

Bowhead seeks multiple Engineer Draftsman to join our team in Crane, IN. The Engineer Draftsman will assist in providing services in support of technology upgrades for CAC2s and AC2SN. This includes providing technical and acquisition engineering support services

in the areas of scientific/engineering analysis and studies, test and evaluation, technical data support, drafting, and Electrical design.

The Engineer Draftsmen must be proficient in using 3D Parametric CAD software (Solid Edge and/or Creo are preferred) to create and maintain 3D models and 2D parametrically linked drafts. The Engineer Draftsmen will use AutoCAD and must be able to create and

modify complex models and drafts from sketches, layouts, notes or reverse engineering provided by the Engineers. Working under minimal supervision, the Engineer Draftsmen must be able to meet critical goals and deadlines and will incorporate specifications

into drawings and plans to manufacture, maintain and repair products and structures.

Requirements

• An Associate’s degree is required at a minimum but a Bachelor’s degree is preferred

• Must have a minimum of four to five (4-5) years of drafting experience is required

• Experience with AutoCAD, Solid Edge and/or Creo is highly required

• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts

• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold and be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
