Sabre Systems, Inc. Sr. Anti-Tamper Support Engineer in Crane, Indiana
Sabre Systems is currently looking for a Sr. Anti-Tamper Support Engineer to work in Crane, IN. The Hardware Cybersecurity Branch (GXVM), Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC Crane) provides Department of the Navy weapons systems, ACAT acquisition programs, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) programs Systems Security Engineering (SSE) support. SSE’s work for Program Management Office (PMO), and interact with Program Mangers (PM’s), Assistant PM’s (APM’s), Program Office Protection Leads (POPL) and others to ensure critical program information (CPI) is appropriately secured.
Serve as security engineering subject matter expert for the PMO. As a key member of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) AT Technical Warrant Holder (TWH) support pyramid provide expert guidance to Programs.
Expert in the latest Anti-Tamper (AT) technology (offense and defense) and AT techniques.
Proficient in current policy, procedures, processes, and references. To include the current AT Technical Implementation Guide (TIG), Program Protection Plan (PPP) guidance and templates, PPP Annex D guidance and templates, applicable regulations, instructions & memorandum, security classification guides (SCG) and AT Desk References.
Review and comment on Program SSE documents in preparation for Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events and gates.
Keep the NAVSEA AT TWH informed of the Programs’ progress and status.
Provide a communication channel for PMO’s to access the NAVSEA AT TWH.
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Five to seven years’ work experience as a Systems Security Engineer or related position.
In-depth knowledge of federal government acquisition process.
Significant experience implementing acquisition policy and executing acquisition procedures. (DOD and/or DON experience preferred.)
Proven ability to engage top leaders.
Experience diplomatically arguing regulatory requirements and technology capabilities and limitations.
Proficiency in understanding how to satisfy SETR event entrance and exit criteria.
Experience planning, scheduling, and evaluating documents to support SETR events.
This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
This position requires business travel. The extent of travel will be dependent on COVID restrictions and secure VTC capabilities.
Anticipate from 25% to 40% travel.
