Summary You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the Expeditionary Energy Systems Branch of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12. Responsibilities You will provide journey level technical guidance for for the installation, development, test/evaluation and fleet introduction of all Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD) hardware and software systems. You will support performance testing of batteries and power systems in support of Expeditionary Energy Systems Branch. You will work with electrical systems including power supplies, electronic loads, batteries, and temperature chambers. You will brief/present information to all levels of management and co-workers at Naval Surface Warfare Center CRANE. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 pay band (GS-09/10 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical engineering support in the development, installation, or test and evaluation of ground based air defense weapons systems.
