At Lippert, the role of Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is critical to the success of the Digital Experience team in delivering and maintaining technology products and services which exceed the expectations of our customers.

The Customer Experience Technologies (CXT) BSA is responsible for identifying and managing the feature backlog for various Digital Marketing applications and products, with special attention dedicated to facilitating project planning in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment, performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, writing user stories and business cases, testing for user acceptance and exceptional digital experience, and communicating regularly with the project team and stakeholders.

Under the supervision of the Manager of Customer Experience Technologies , the CXT BSA is required to work in close collaboration with the Web Stragtegy Leader, Digital Commerce Technical Architect, developers, digital catalog and content specialists, and other business users across the organization, including the Contact Center, Marketing, Operations, and Sales teams.

A CXT BSA should have exceptional communication skills, creative problem solving abilities, an analytical way of thinking, and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users. An ideal candidate will have experience in Magento or other eCommerce platforms, Microsoft Dynamix 365 or other ERP systems, Product Information Management systems, familiarity with agile project management principles and platforms, and always have the customer experience top of mind. Skills in IT and development would be extremely valuable for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.

  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful feedback for the development team.

  • Staying up-to-date on the latest Digital Marketing trends, processes, and IT advancements to automate, modernize and optimize systems.

  • Managing new projects for Digital Marketing continuous improvement and new implementations by:

  • Gathering business requirements by mapping the current process of the business and systems and identifying solutions

  • Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.

  • Partnering with Technical Architect to build out solutions

  • Creating user stories and business cases, laying out clearly defined success criteria based on business process discovery

  • Coordinating the delivery of project milestones based on sprint progress from the development team Developing training and process documentation

  • Updating, implementing, and maintaining processes and procedures

  • Developing ERD diagrams and process flow maps

  • Performing training and Q&A sessions with end users

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily working indoors, office environment.

  • May sit for several hours at a time.

  • Prolonged exposure to computer screens.

  • Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology or related discipline; OR, if no degree, 3-5 years of experience in Consulting, Product Development, Business Analysis, Project Management, or eCommerce

  • Experience with Magento or other eCommerce platforms, ERP and order management platforms, Salsify or other Product Information Management (PIM/PXM) platforms, and database management systems is a plus

  • Familiarity and experience with agile project management principles and tools

  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions

  • Ability to segment LCI’s complex business environment into components allowing issues/tasks to be split up into manageable parts to achieve goals timely and successfully.

  • Ability to work with multiple LCI teams to leverage ideas and success stories, as well as lessons learned.

  • Strong requirements gathering and interviewing skills to identify needs of stakeholders/end users and translate their needs into user stories for execution

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time role.
