We are Leading with Science to provide sustainable and resilient solutions for our clients.Tetra Tech's Chicago, IL office is seeking an engineering or environmental science intern to provide assistance with a project in Evansville Indiana. The selected candidate must live in the Evansville area. The selected candidate will work part-time to full-time as the school schedule allows with the expectation that the student can work at least 20 hours/week. The selected candidate will work with the local project team on a large remediation project that involves excavation and restoration of residential properties throughout the City of Evansville. The intern will assist the property coordinator collecting access agreements from property owners including site photographs, data management including filing and uploading electronic files to a database, and other record keeping functions as necessary to manage the remediation efforts.Good interpersonal skills, strong technical writing skills, spoken and written fluency in English. Must be highly motivated and work well in a team environment. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet software, and databases required. Must be able to drive a motor vehicle and pass a motor vehicle records check. Qualified candidate should be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate environmental science, civil/environmental engineering, or related program. 40-Hour OSHA training a plus. Office work and some field work. Field work limited to collecting site photographs and collecting paperwork from home owners.
