The Business Data Analyst identifies best practices and develops actionable insights and recommendations regarding service operations for Stanley’s Electronic Security Business in North America. This is a position for an individual with a data driven mindset and a passion for operational excellence. The successful candidate will analyze data and business processes to inform leadership, customers, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

As Business Data Analyst, our ideal candidate will have strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent presentation skills. A strong adaptability and capacity to work in a fast-paced environment is a must have!

This position reports to the Vice President of Service for the North American Electronic Security Business.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Perform business analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining.

  • Produce scheduled and ad hoc data and reports at a customer, department, and business level from multiple data sources.

  • Work alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs and goals

  • Assist in implementing or developing systems to capture business operation information.

  • Define, Measure and report on key performance indicators for internal and external service level agreements.

  • Develop and document business practices to optimize performance and efficiency for internal and external customers.

  • Identify and report on results, performance trends, and patterns in data sets to the relevant members of the business.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2+ years of experience in organizational data flow and its use in management decision-making

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in accounting, finance, or business administration

  • 2+ years of experience in a business or data analyst role

  • Experience with Astea, SAP, Five9, and Avaya technology platforms.

  • Knowledge using PowerBI, Excel, Business Objects, and other reporting tools.

  • Working in or supporting a service delivery organization.

  • Familiarity with relational database technologies.

  • Understanding of customer SLAs and least cost routing algorithms.
