The Compensation Analyst will have a variety of compensation project-based responsibilities across the different businesses that make up Stanley Security. The Compensation Analyst will primarily research job requirements, evaluate job positions, and make recommendations to ensure the company is competitive in the areas of salaries and variable compensation. The Compensation Analyst will also project manage a number of global processes and initiatives for the Security business.
Provide complex analysis and modeling for compensation projects and programs
Participate in exempt and nonexempt salary surveys and benchmarking jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to validate competitive compensation ranges for each position.
Work in collaboration with HR and Shared Services to optimize resources and ensure accuracy of data analytics
Evaluate promotion and hire recommendations by partnering with HR and talent acquisition
Coordinate the administration of merit review process and bonus and commissions calculations
Organize and prepare reports for leadership review meetings
Conduct analysis for specific functional areas and benchmark data, trend information and economic projections to ensure compensation strategy maintains a competitive market position to include base and variable pay designed to attract, retain, and reward employees
Monitors and audits pay practices to ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, and wage and hour laws.
Project manages some data collection and consolidation and participates in testing for implementation of new HR software.
Conducts FLSA Assessments.
Key project team member for job architecture; ensuring descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents
Conducts data and cost analyses to be used in employee negotiations and collective bargaining agreements.
1+ years’ work experience in a Compensation, Financial Planning and Analysis, Accounting, etc.
Strong time and project management skills
Ability to organize detailed data and consolidate complex information in a manner that results in user-friendly concise communication
Advanced Excel skills, along with strong MS Office skills. Must be comfortable with large complex spreadsheet design & analysis to understand and develop insights from data.
Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
Experience in HR and Compensation software - preferred experience working with Workday, Xactly, Payfactors, PeopleSoft.

Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed
Ability to follow instructions and work independently in the completion of assigned tasks
Excellent oral and written communication skills; comfortable with having difficult conversations
