BKD, LLP Consultant | Healthcare in Fort Wayne, Indiana

What You Will Do:

  • Prepare industry-specific compensation and related benchmarking analyses

  • Develop and assist with the delivery of reports and presentations

  • Research and summarize applicable updates and changes in the regulatory environment for physician-hospital transactions

  • Complete various operational and financial analyses as related to hospital-based physician practices (both employed & contractual)

  • Research and synthesize information on various healthcare industry topics and assisting in the development of educational presentation materials for clients and trade groups

  • Perform other healthcare compliance and transactional consulting projects as needed

A Successful Trusted Advisor Has:

  • Ability to utilize data analysis to draw conclusions

  • Effective business writing (for reports and routine correspondence)

  • Technical research skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Demonstrated initiative in problem-solving and critical thinking

  • Effective abilities to leverage technology to develop repeatable processes

  • Commitment to engaging in BKD’s unmatched client service culture

  • An inner desire to learn and grow in a team-focused environment

  • Ability to travel as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, health administration or other related degrees (3.0

  • GPA or higher in selected major and overall)

  • This is an entry-level position. No experience is required, however, 6 months to 2 years in healthcare accounting, operations, finance, consulting, etc. is preferred, or a Master’s degree in the same areas

  • Experience with developing and delivering presentations
