Amentum Reliability Manager - Maintenance in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Job Summary

You're a subject matter expert in lean maintenance with an expertise for creating process improvements that sustain low operating cost and improve asset reliability. The reliability programs that you have crafted have been utilized across multiple sites and showcase best in class maintenance practices and predictive maintenance activities. You have spent the past 15+ years teaching your team how to identify and eliminate waste, reduce operating and maintenance costs, and increase uptime. Earning an Engineering degree accompanies your high-level technical expertise so you can perform root cause analysis and risk-based asset management functions.

In addition to leading a team of 25+ maintenance technicians and supervisors you effectively support the operations teams to meet production deadlines, plan outages, and develop project plans. Your close working relationship with operations managers allows you to showcase how Amentum's solutions will enhance the client's performance and reliability.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

  • Valid driver’s license

  • 15+ years in manufacturing maintenance and reliability with at least 10 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven performance as a reliability engineer on previous industrial projects in maintenance management industry.

  • Strong technical background in production equipment maintenance
