General Purpose of Job

As a Senior Capital Markets Analyst, you will be responsible from analyzing and executing programs and transactions that are designed to strengthen the capital and liquidity structure of the entire Company.

  • Support and lead capital market transactions that are designed to optimize the Company’s liquidity and capital structure profile through:

a. Economic analysis and transaction due diligence

b. Front line interaction with banks and internal Company stakeholders

c. Preparation of exhibits and presentation slides

d. Transaction execution and implementation

  • Research, analyze, recommend, lead and implement solutions to complex problems in liquidity

  • Conduct enterprise wide liquidity stress test to assess cash flows and liquidity needs

  • Own execution of corporate finance actions such as share buybacks and interest expense payments

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties for timely execution of ad hoc projects within budget

  • Coordinate and lead delivery of information and surveys to regulators, auditors, rating agencies and public investors

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with the Company’s liquidity policies and credit facilities

  • Provide ongoing support for the business units and our various other partners, as needed

  • Drive innovation-related initiatives, including workflow automation to improve functional effectiveness and efficiencies

Additional Position Responsibilities

  • Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.

  • Performs other duties as required.

  • Remains current in profession and industry trends.

Education

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) - Minimum Required

Experience

  • 4+ years of relevant treasury experience, knowledge, and skill in corporate finance

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • High level of integrity and attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proactiveness to take on extra responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Significant experience in Excel and Power Point

  • Progress towards CFA, CPA, MBA or master’s degree is preferred

  • Big 4 experience is highly desired

  • Life Insurance industry experience is a plus

  • Knowledge of derivative instruments is a plus

  • Prior experience with Bloomberg Terminal is a plus #LI-DS
