Military C2 Finance is seeking a talented Senior Program Cost Schedule & Controls Analyst to support our Finance team.
The Command & Control (C2) Product Area of the RMD Strategic Missile Defense Mission Area
is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to fill the critical Analyst role on one or more current and/or future International or DOD programs.
The international program support could include both DCS or FMS contracts.
This candidate is expected to have advanced knowledge of all program control procedures, and the position will be required to perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are performed within agreed-upon parameters. Responsibilities include: manage the program’s EVMS including monitor and reporting of performance, EAC development, perform detailed financial analysis for both program and functional area, define and understand variances to baseline, EAC, sales/labor and manpower forecasts.
Additionally, EAC and forecast risk & opportunity development are required, as is frequent interaction with various functions and multiple levels of the organization, including working day-to-day with program mangers, finance managers and functional program leads.
The successful candidate for this role should possess strong technical knowledge of finance and program control, strong problem solving skills and have good communication skills.
The candidate should be comfortable working independently and in a team environment, and have the ability to multi-task and work on several different program issues concurrently.
Candidate shall be comfortable working with and presenting to the program leadership team, lead engineers and other cross functional organizations. The individual should be dedicated to continued process improvements and the building of efficiencies into all operational aspects of the organization.
Post Covid-19 restrictions, quarterly travel to Ft. Wayne, Indiana may be required.
Additional limited travel to customer sites may also be required.
This position can be remote at the discretion of the hiring manager.
4 years related work experience
Experience with EVMS and Program Controls baseline budgeting process
Understanding of Estimate at completion (EAC) process and general accounting practices
Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical and problem solving skills
Working knowledge of cash management including unbilled analysis, invoicing and collections
Knowledge of EV Management Systems
Advanced knowledge and experience with EVMS Tool Sets (APEXEV, PMX Tool Suite, SAP,
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, as a team member, and with all levels of management
Ability and willingness to travel
to support Program activity if required
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to identify issues and implement corrective action plans that produce positive results
High attention to detail and accuracy
Continuous improvement mindset ; R6Sigma certified
Experience with financial forecasting, Annual Operating & 5 Year Plan development
Familiar with Company structure, products, vision, strategy, goals, and values
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline with 4+ years related work experience or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related discipline with 4 years related work experience.
