General Purpose of Job
As the Sr Consultant, Group Protection Consumer Marketing, you will provide subject matter expertise and direction on complex marketing/project initiatives for assigned areas. You will develop and execute marketing plans for assigned areas, with focus on message architecture, content development and digital marketing campaigns. #LI-CH1
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures complex marketing collateral content is accurate, relevant, and consistent in terms of style, quality tone of voice, and which optimizes market awareness of Lincolns products and/or services.
Analyzes and guides the development of complex performance metrics and benchmarks to track and assess the effectiveness of assigned marketing plans to management and/or appropriate internal stakeholders.
Identifies and directs the implementation of enrollment and onboarding marketing experience improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Builds relationships and partners with key internal stakeholders to ensure consumer marketing programs and marketing tools, collateral and plans are in alignment with the business goals and objectives.
Identifies and recommends marketing approaches that will results in improved consumer engagement.
Leads and/or directs complex marketing projects from inception to execution including but not limited to: project planning, resource planning, change management and communications planning, managing changes to the project scope
Communicates complex marketing plans and ensures they are understood by all stakeholders and team members.
Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
Creates related complex communications and marketing collateral, in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders, that support consistent enterprise core messaging and business goals for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Develops and implements complex marketing plans, in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders, which are driven by assigned area(s) of responsibility’s business goals.
Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Provides direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability of his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Directs development of complex marketing materials.
Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Serves as a subject matter expert and partners with internal stakeholders to develop and implement new complex marketing approaches which enhance and maintain the competitive position of his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility in the marketplace.
Utilizes resources to ensure that complex marketing collateral is compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements and is consistent with Lincoln editorial and branding standards.
Education and Experience
4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) – Minimum Required
5 - 7+ years’ experience in consumer marketing that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
