The Role

This position will provide subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects and digital initiatives for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. S/he will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business processes and identify opportunities for digitization capabilities that will support business goals and objectives. S/he will develop and measure KPIs that support traceability and predictability into business committed benefits. S/he will liaise with stakeholders to champion adoption of new processes and drive implementation of changes.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.

  • Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.

  • Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.

  • Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.

  • Provides direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability of his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.

  • Partners with business leaders on implementation of value realization structure, facilitates request for funding and checkpoints throughout the work lifecycle.

  • Coaches and trains internal stakeholders (e.g. Product Managers, Product Owners and adoption leads) on adoption practices and tool sets.

  • Champions and supports design and execution of adoption strategies within assigned portfolio.

  • Identifies and designs remediation plans to drive adoption based on data feedback loops.

  • Produces complex outputs related to cost-benefit analysis, business outcomes, key performance indicator (KPI) tracking, and risks.

  • Establishes and maintains relationships across business and IT departments to educate and drive Digital Services that can provide value to the portfolio pipeline.

  • Facilitates and leads Adoption sessions focused on educating stakeholders to best practices.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Liaises between business sponsors and technology partners to validate solutions meet business needs.

  • Advises business leaders on optimal prioritization of digital initiatives to ensure business value is delivered.

  • Liaises with Digital and IT partners to ensure initiatives align with the strategic intent of the digital program.

  • Facilitates discussions across user groups to address portfolio topics such as: Business targets, value realization and timing, escalate appropriate dependencies, risks, issues

  • Models complex, future scenarios of digital investment and value capture based on changing dynamics.

  • Liaises with cross-functional leaders to ensure shared alignment of change agenda; develops and implements practices designed to optimize adoption of new capabilities.

  • Collaborates with business stakeholders to identify behaviors that drive adoption of new processes.

  • Contributes to process-related policies that facilitate acceptance and implementation of changes to business processes, systems, and/or operations.

  • Develops metrics to evaluate progress and benefit realization of digital initiatives; provides insights to further adapt and evolve processes to drive continuous improvement.

  • Develops and delivers progress reports to leadership, providing updates on progress, value realization, and financial implications of digital portfolio/strategic initiatives.


4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) - Minimum Required

  • 5 – 7+ Years of experience in business consulting and/or portfolio management directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required)

  • Ability to work with others in a team environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend processes improvements.

  • Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. senior management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches.

  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.

  • Demonstrates strong project management leadership skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.

  • Finds common ground and can gain collaboration among senior/executive management, colleagues and peers; can influence outcomes without directing or commanding.
