Responsible for the technical aspects of asphalt / concrete plants including troubleshooting, process control, and process improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Optimize plant operations with technical documentation and drawing created by CAD systems
Design and implement electrical engineering projects in response to specific plant needs
Produce drawings / prints of each plant location detailing the components as-built
Monitor, supervise, and support plant projects while ensuring safety, quality, and deadlines are met
High school diploma required; Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Valid Driver’s License required
Minimum 3-5 years directly applicable experience required
Mechanical and physical reasoning and analytical skills required
Basic math and accounting principles must be understood
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential
Problem solving skills with attention to detail
Self-motivated; ability to work independently; ability to adapt to rapidly changing environment
Good written and verbal communication skills with plant personnel, maintenance personnel, management, and vendors
High degree of attention to detail
Must be able to work in outdoor areas, subject to the elements
