Job Title: QA Specialist

Location: Greenwood, IN

Reports to: Senior Director, Technology

Job Purpose

The purpose of the QA Specialist position is to be responsible for owning and ensuring the accuracy and quality of our products and to understand customer usage models in order to develop routine test cases, test automation and coordinate testing efforts for all assigned projects to approximate real-world use cases across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices - including smartphones and tablets; for both new and existing systems. This position will work with all levels of the organization and will work closely with engineering, product management, user experience, and customer happiness.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, own and document testing strategies to determine acceptance of features based on design

  • Prioritize and monitor testing activities to ensure the end product is completed on time and within established budgets while meeting quality standards

  • Develop test procedures, user scenarios, and test cases from written requirements, and execute them

  • Work closely with engineering teams to identify and understand key features and their underlying functionality

  • Work with developers and provide feedback and suggestions on functionality and user experience

  • Generate reports that clearly communicate testing results, concerns, and project status to share with all internal stakeholders including (but not limited) to product team, engineering team, and marketing team

Qualifications

  • Education: BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline is preferred, but not required

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in related field

  • Skills Required: Creative, detail-oriented, self-starter

  • Skills Preferred: Selenium, Jenkins, PHP
