Fortna Sr. Software Tester in Hanoi, Indiana
Job Descriptions:
This Sr. Software Tester will be responsible for exploring and developing the test frameworks to assure the quality of new and existing product lines. It will also be participating in all activities of QA such as developing test plan/test case, executing testing, both functional and automation test, creating test report with approving/accepting delivery from Development team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Participating in defining and developing the QA processes, tools and quality assurance standards.
Working with engineers to develop, publish and implement test plans.
Writing and maintaining test automation.
Developing quality assurance standards.
Defining and tracking quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
Working closely with the software implementation team to test software platforms/applications based on Client’s requirements.
Providing technical leadership on test automation and guidance to team members.
Owning the tasks and/or issues from identification to resolution.
Collaborating with other team members to foster a team atmosphere.
Required Experience:
Bachelors of Science in Computer Information Systems, Business Management or related field
3-5 years of experience in systems engineering, system integration, or verification and validation
Supervisory experience leading small to medium size technical teams
Experience developing Test Plans, leading test events, and preparing Test Reports
Knowledge and direct experience with agile testing methodologies
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work in a high-paced, highly dynamic environment
Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem solving skills
Ability to travel extensively nationally and internationally
