POSITION SUMMARY:

Dynamic leader who inspires the workforce to continuously improve safety, quality and productivity while meeting or exceeding established KPIs. Candidate should set the standard for teamwork and integrity, while establishing an approachable report with leadership, peers and subordinates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Lead all 3rdshift activities.

  • Responsible for all Health, Safety and Environmental programs on 3rdShift

  • Assure safe work environment and workforce is following safe work behaviors.

  • Create an environment of empowerment, openness, and trust with direct reports.

  • Support plant performance objectives with respect to Departmental and Plant KPI’s

  • Communicate with other shifts to ensure consistency and meet priorities.

  • Promote teamwork in department.

  • Provide coverage in other departments/shifts as required.

  • Support Product Safety Management and Execute Activities Defined in Quality Procedure Q-01-002.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated leadership and excellent communication skills.

  • Flexibility in working with diverse personalities and multiple priorities.

  • Approachable and enthusiastic.

  • Innovative self-starter, goal and task oriented.

  • Customer focused and committed to excellence

  • Experience in managing diverse groups of employees in a team-based culture.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
