Oracle Advertising Analytics Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana

Responsible for digital marketing of products or services in support of Oracle's demand generation strategy using tools to optimize marketing strategies and enhance the customer experience with new technology platforms and innovations.

Responsible for digital marketing activities to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness. Executes online marketing programs such as search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliated marketing, social marketing, and viral marketing to create buzz and inbound demand responses. Drive traffic which ultimately generates sales pipeline. Translates ideas used in demand generation into promotional marketing campaigns and advertising personas. Ensures localized content is leveraged for all digital marketing channels including, web, social, paid advertising and outbound emails Conducts analysis for programs effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs. Collects and analyzes digital/internet/website/mobile data and statistics which monitor and measure the performance of digital traffic and activities to support marketing and campaign optimization, lead generation for sales, product and engineering teams for continuous improvements to product and data driven decision making. Applies statistics-based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations on optimizing the user experience and help drive business outcomes. Monitors and analyzes site performance and reviews tracking metrics to provide solutions to increase search engine ranking and creating marketing personas/audience profiles. Researches and evaluates new technology trends and identifies new optimization opportunities.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years related experience. BA/BS degree or equivalent. Proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture and mobile platforms.

About the Role

As the Advertising Analytics Manager you will be primarily be responsible for supporting delivery of Oracle’s next generation advertising analytics. You will own the day to day delivery of key milestones and working with the media channels teams, marketing analytics team and Mar Tech to deliver next generation insights. The ideal candidate is a team player, problem-solver, and idea generator with a firm understanding of not only BI tools, publishers, pixels, floodlights but how advertising generates leads, opportunities and won business. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a set of dashboards and comprehensive data model utilizing Oracle Analytics to provide our global teams the capability to analyze lead funnel / campaigns / tactics / channels / website performance as well as give executive leadership key insights to understand impact and determine how best to optimize investments.

  • Conduct ad hoc reporting with insightful recommendations.

  • Support a holistic marketing database management strategy that supports data unification and access across our internal systems, ensures data quality, and enforces governance and measurement.

  • You will deliver advanced insights to help advertisers achieve their objectives and unlock business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in economics, marketing, engineering preferred.

  • 5 year’s experience in marketing, advertising, B2B and/or Tech

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated use of marketing science techniques tailored to meet business needs.

  • Strong attention to detail with organizational, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Bias for action. You see the big picture and understand the complexity inside Oracle. You are willing work in an agile environment.

  • You believe in quality over quantity, and ground your recommendations in insights, research, and experimentation.

  • You possess a "test and learn" mindset.

  • Experience in Agile Methodology is a big plus.

  • You can build reporting using Python, SQL, Oracle Analytics Cloud or similar products.

  • You have experience in Adobe Analytics, Oracle Infinity, Eloqua and publisher data.
