QuEST Global Aftermarket Engineer in Indianapolis, Indiana
Essential Job Functions:
QuEST is seeking an Aftermarket Engineer to join our high energy, fast-paced, growing team in Indianapolis. The Aftermarket Engineer is needed to support Technical Variance Requests for the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F135 LiftSystem, including engine component and assembly analysis, modeling, and other customer and supplier interactions. Additionally, the Aftermarket Engineer will participate and support Depot Level Repair and Baseline Inspection Repeater Technical Variances, devising repair solution strategies. The Aftermarket Engineer must be capable of managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while driving for completion through the stages of Technical Variance approval as well as able to provide rational technical and business justification for the repair being evaluated. The Aftermarket Engineer must be able to communicate well and present engineering status reports and justification in front of customer design boards and committees during the project.

Education, Training, and Experience
BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
1 - 3 years of relatable design and manufacturing experience required.
3 - 5 years of relatable experience in aerospace maintenance preferred.
Experience with customer/supplier interaction preferred.
Proficiency with the MS Office Suite with good writing skills.
Experience with Siemens Teamcenter is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Mostly Office Environments.
Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
Substantial amount of telephone and computer work.
Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early. Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PM
Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations, if required.
