Bell Techlogix Associate Engineer (2nd or 3rd shift) in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana
Must be able to work overnights/weekends.
2nd shift/3rd shift preferred, 1 weekend day
Summary: An Associate Systems Engineer’s role is to ensure availability, performance and security of the IT infrastructure.
Event and alert management stemming from server and network infrastructure.
Take direction to solve complex problems regarding client issues and other tasks as assigned.
Understanding the scope and timelines of new projects in order to meet the completion deadlines.
Interface with all levels of employees internally and within client businesses to support program requirements (business owners, project managers, customer employees, and executive management).
Write technical procedural documentation for co-workers and for delegated tasks.
Manage workflow of infrastructure tasks, automated events, and manager requests to ensure customer service level and KPI compliance.
Maintain required certification levels to meet departmental needs.

Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands and tasks, and successfully manage multiple engagements that may require additional resources.
Attention to detail and thoroughness.
Ability to analyze complex business systems and proprietary application configurations, document the configurations and processes, and support them as needed.
Self-reliant and directed as there may be little to no daily supervision.
Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
High School diploma required
Associate degree in Computer Science preferred or a minimum of 2 years support experience in computer & network system environments.
Experience and ability to convey understanding with the following:
Server hardware and managing physical servers and appliances in a data center environment
Providing process improvement recommendations and documentation
Industry best practice knowledge and experience with systems, network, and security troubleshooting.
