Description
The Business Systems Analysis Professional 2 performs analysis of business, process and user needs, documentation of requirements, cost/benefit analysis and translation into proper system requirement specifications. The Business Systems Analysis Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
Responsibilities
The ECOM Pharmacy Business Analyst formulates and defines systems and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures and processes to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Validates benefits achieved from solution implementation. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
The enterprise clinical operating model (ECOM), provides the framework to better integrate our clinical strategies, analytics, capabilities, processes and technology to reshape our members' experience and improve health outcomes. The ECOM Pharmacy Business Analyst will drive the development of our pharmacy product roadmap. the resource will use business capability mapping principles to create a prioritized list of technology needs which will be used to develop innovative solutions to business and customer needs. In addition, this resource work with our clinical product team to define leading indicator KPIs which will be used to inform the success or failure of implementation strategies for our Health Cloud solutions.
Develop business cases to articulate needs for action and standing up initiatives
Document and assess current state and future state experience and processes
Assess impacts and alignment w/ department, channel, and organizational goals
Use data and insights to identify customer needs, pain points, and opportunities
Define outcomes that align to Humana's and customer's value
Prioritize initiatives based on business value
Tell stories with data/infographics
Determines how new information technologies can support re-engineering business processes.
Evaluates procedures and processes to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
Evaluates and defines systems and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
This position may require up to 10% of travel.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Business Analysis or Product Development experience
Experience building business cases and influencing decisions
Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
Experience in problem analysis and process
Experience working in Agile environments
Experience with Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Problem solving and consultation within complex environments
Experience in working with design tools, Miro, Invision, etc..
Experience working in Healthcare Field
User Experience Testing Experience
Working in the state of Arizona must comply with the Tobacco Free Hiring Policy and upon offer will be subjected to nicotine testing as part of a 10-panel drug test
