Job Summary
Functions in a Data Management / Business Intelligence Analyst role to develop and deliver customized solutions to clients in the water and wastewater space. Performs all routine tasks of Data Management and BI assignments including translating business requirements into technical requirements, Database Development, Data Engineering, Data Modeling, Data Relationships and Dashboards/Reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Technical Requirements:
Translate abstract business requirements into actionable technical requirements which can be executed using business intelligence
IT Skills:
Connect to data sources (Excel, SQL, Azure, SSAS)
SQL
PowerShells, REST APIs
Installation and configuration of data gateways
Power Platform
Provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365
Extensive experience in the Microsoft Power Platform – MS PowerApps, MS Power Automate, and Power BI
Ability to create business processes and custom connectors with MS Power Automate
Development of Azure logic apps and functions and Power BI development
Strong foundational knowledge of Office 365 platform including Exchange, Azure AD, and Azure ecosystem Experience customizing SharePoint lists and disparate systems with PowerApps
Experience developing PowerApps models, clear understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods.
Proficient creating PowerShell scripts.
Data Engineering:
Proficient in M-Code (Power Query)
Extract, Transform and Load (ETL)
Design and implement basic and advanced data transformations
Change data format and shape to support data model, analysis and visualization Manage incomplete data, data quality issues
Create and manage data relationships, optimize models for reporting (Star Schema)
Analysis and Visualization:
Identify and develop dashboards/reports which solve client’s unique problems and provide actionable decision support
Proficient in DAX
Calculated columns, calculated tables, measures
Strong math, logic and statistical skills
Ability to create professional, aesthetically pleasing visuals which are polished and easy to understand
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required:
- Technologies: PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Exchange, Azure, PowerShell

Minimum Qualifications
Typically a minimum of 8 plus years related work experience.
