Charles Schwab Centralized Support Specialist - Westlake, TX in Indianapolis, Indiana

Your Opportunity

The Centralized Support Team is part of the broader Planning & Portfolio Group organization and is primarily responsible for supporting individuals and families seeking help and guidance on how to reach their financial goals. The Centralized Support Team works to connect clients and prospects with PPG professionals and partners to provide wealth management services and offers. The Centralized Support Team is responsible for a variety of activities which include but are not limited to appointment scheduling, processing client intake, handling internal and external client inquiries and assisting with ongoing managed account appropriateness requirements.

What you are good at

As a Centralized Support Professional, you will provide assistance to clients across the Planning & Portfolio Group. Duties will include running daily referral queries, uncovering needs and vectoring to the appropriate resources, providing client & internal partner support via inbound and outbound interactions. You will also support client relationship activities including: discovery and data gathering, outbound referral contact, and scheduling client appointments with their Investment Consultant, Financial Planner or Private Client Advisor.

This role will be an introductory level to financial planning, wealth management and portfolio consulting while working as part of a strong team with a focus on providing advice and guidance to clients and partners. This position will allow for an opportunity to deepen industry/business acumen and overall understanding of high net worth client needs while working alongside tenured, experienced professionals.

What you have

• High School Diploma required

• Active FINRA Series 7 and 66 required (or may be obtained within the first 120 days)

• Previous experience in the financial services industry working directly with clients highly preferred

• General understanding of brokerage regulations and rules that govern client accounts

• Demonstrated experience handling client concerns and issues with tact and diplomacy

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team, while handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously

• Must be able to develop and maintain good cross departmental working relationships
