The U.S. Multi-Channel Engagement Team unifies the pursuit across business units (Biomedicines, Oncology, Diabetes) of evolving Lilly’s marketing practices for how we interact with our health care provider customers. Our vision is to create an industry leading MCE capability utilizing modern communication channels within the customer workflow to help us create a much more valued, relevant, and integrated customer experience that also drives more efficient business results. Much progress has been made and new capabilities developed, but we now need to take MCE to the next level.
The Emerging Marketing Capabilities Manager will be part of the MCE Capabilities Team. Framed with a portfolio scope, this role will ensure new capabilities are cohesively integrated into a wide variety of brand objectives and operational structures. It will also be responsible for cultivating trusted relationships with key stakeholders in order to facilitate effective collaboration and infuse marketing technology best practices and innovation.
Partner with MCE Strategists to introduce new marketing and health IT capabilities to brands and optimize their performance over time.
Co-develop brand MCE campaign automation to create new high value customer engagements and convert them into business growth.
Identify cross-brand business opportunities, anticipate conflicts and lead efforts to align brand leaders on prioritization.
Apply understanding of Lilly’s culture, organizational structure, roles and practices in order to lead discussions on new capabilities with Brand, Medical, Legal and Regulatory leaders so they become stakeholders and champions.
Support development of standardized best practices, goals, processes and resources for MCE Strategists.
Develop business cases for innovation opportunities applying marketing and health information technology.
Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry experience
Strong leadership to influence in all directions, create positive change toward a vision, collaborate cross-functionally, establish goals and deliver results.
Understanding of data and technology solutions in marketing a plus.
Demonstrated ability to influence organizational change without authority from peer level to VP level while collaborating and working effectively on a team.
Demonstrated ability to work with complexity and provide simple yet eloquent solutions.
Excellent communication skills including: High EQ, strong listening skills, great articulation of “why’s,” articulation of concepts clearly.

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (e.g business, marketing, communications, science, healthcare)
2-4 years of marketing experience
2+ years of mulit-channel and/or digital marketing experience
