Corteva Agriscience Cybersecurity Operations Lead in Indianapolis, Indiana

Description

The Cybersecurity Operations Lead is responsible for the day to day operations of the Cybersecurity Systems & Tools team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing a team of employees and contractors that maintain Corteva’s cybersecurity tools and platforms. This includes endpoint security, SIEM, and information protection solutions. The role would report to the Cybersecurity Operations Command and Control lead and be accountable ensuring that these tools and platforms remain operational and correctly configured in accordance with Corteva’s guidance.

  • Support and lead the managed services for security operations within the Cybersecurity Systems & Tools

  • Manage the Security Monitoring capabilities of Corteva and provide input on thought leadership for security monitoring functionalities such as use cases and log sources

  • Manage 24/7 Cybersecurity Systems & Tools Team, including SIEM, EDR, anti-virus, DLP, and information protection

  • Maintain full network visibility across Corteva’s attack surface to identify and flag anomalistic events.

  • Collaborate with the Incident Response team with the development of plans to mitigate breaches to Corteva’s network environment using Corteva’s cybersecurity tools and platforms.

  • Implement KPI/KRI metrics for continuous improvement as well as information regarding the overall security hygiene of the environment.

  • Work with Corteva’s Cyber Architecture and Technology team to identify new solutions to improve the effectiveness of its existing tools and platforms and to deploy new ones

  • Oversee employee and contractor project teams involved in the design and implementation of new cybersecurity tools and platforms

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in comp science, Information Technology/Management, or related fields are highly desired, equivalent experience will be considered.

  • 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, and 3+ years in a leadership position.

  • Experience with cybersecurity technologies and tools including Security Information & Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), anti-virus, information protection platforms (e.g., Microsoft Information Protection), and data leak prevention

  • Experience with logging, monitoring and detection tools leveraged in the SOC (i.e. ArcSight, Splunk, Azure Sentinel or similar technologies)

  • Experience consuming and integrating open source intelligence

  • Experience in technical writing

  • Ability to lead in a team-oriented environment that is multinational and cross organizational with a managed service component.

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

  • Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen.

  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • CISM - Certified Information Security Manager

  • CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional

  • Vendor specific certifications (e.g., Splunk, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Azure)
