Defense Finance and Accounting Service DATA ANALYTICS & WEB ADMINISTRATION SPECIALIST in Indianapolis, Indiana

Summary Who may apply: Current, permanent DFAS employees in the local commuting area and eligible PPP Military Spouses. Responsibilities Serves as a Data Analytics Specialist, Management Consultant, and Web Content Analyst for the Site Support Office. Manage full development life cycle for web-based systems using necessary software for hosting and facilitating website communications. Reviews and evaluates emerging technologies and the impact on the DFAS Site communication objectives and makes recommendations for utilization or modification. Serve as an analyst to collect, measure, analyze, and report human resource and financial management data, to include attrition, staffing, cost, metrics, and revenue. Builds strong internal relationships with key business leaders to understand and define crucial business objectives. Responsible for maintaining the SharePoint Portal website, webpages, and workflows utilizing SharePoint. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. GS-12 specialized experience is defined as: Managing full development life cycle for web-based systems using necessary software, designing and maintaining performance indicators; develop, prepare, and update comprehensive reports, charts, graphics through scientific and statistical analysis. Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher grade in Federal Service. Education GS 12 and above: Education is not substitutable for specialized experience at this grade level.
