The Building People has an opening for a Design and Architectural Support Specialist on a task with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Facilities Management & Engineering Directorate (FM&E)). The Design and Architectural Support Specialist assists the CBPF The contractor shall assist the Government in the enforcement of design standards, development of facility strategies and reviews of designs for Border Patrol and Air & Marine Operations facilities during the project planning, design, and construction phases to ensure the Government standards are followed. The contractor shall perform and review portfolio planning including facility assessments, alternative analysis, and cost estimates. The contractor shall review design plans or work with designers to make sure the Government, state, and local regulations, codes, directives and standards are met
The Design and Architectural Support Specialist will coordinate and participate in the preparation of field drawings and diagrammatic sketches to be provided to designers for incorporation into new or revised plans and specification for the projects.
Required Experience & Skills
- Eight (8) years’ experience of architectural experience
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Energy industry knowledge a plus
Architectural License is required
