Employee Success Technology Senior Analyst, Rewards Operations (Global Rewards)
Salesforce (http://salesforce.com/) is looking for a Senior Technology Analyst with an extensive background in building scalable and innovative solutions for human resources. This role is within and supports the Global Rewards organization. Our ideal candidate enjoys working in dynamic and high-growth environments and is experienced in managing complex projects in support of an overall HR philosophies and strategy.
Work effectively with Employee Success program owners, IT engineering, and the application team to identify, document, and prioritize requirements
Write functional specifications for new functionality or make system changes
Ensure solutions promote simplification, accuracy, and an increasingly higher level of productivity for users
Provide functional support during technology upgrades/implementations and work successfully as a liaison with Employee Success, IT, and other partners
Test new/modified applications to ensure applications and results meet end-users needs
Partner with the support organization to provide training, support and technical assistance to end users
Support SOX compliance efforts
Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity and organizational change
Ability to prioritize across multiple programs/projects and handle diverse assignments simultaneously
Point of contact for sponsors and stakeholders regarding program(s)
Collaborate with cross-functional program managers (e.g., Employee Success, IT, Finance etc.) to complete program/project objectives on-time and within budget
Ensure that the program team works effectively to achieve objectives
Track issues, driving ownership and resolution
Develop strategy documents (business cases, ROI analysis, etc.)
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, with 3-5 years experience with knowledge of human resources technology, with an expertise in compensation (preferred)
3+ years information systems experience
Experience with the Workday HCM and related technologies
Expert knowledge in business process analysis, requirements and design, data modeling, detailed functional design, test planning, and UAT execution
Implementation and support experience with global HR systems from gathering and documenting complex business requirements through testing and production rollout
Change management skills including communication, testing, training and business system and process transformation
Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to shift directions quickly when priorities change, think through problems to come up with innovative solutions and deliver against very tight deadlines
Willing to receive direction and guidance within a team environment, adopt and develop best practices and circumnavigate obstacles with creative technical solutions
Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
Proactive and forward thinking attitude and creative problem solving ability
Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams
Strong business and financial acumen
Good relationship management skills
Ability to translate business needs into system requirements
Ability to manage change across a broad and diverse population
Nice to haves
Familiarity with Salesforce Platform a plus
Familiarity with Anaplan and Tableau a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google apps
