Department Description:

The Global Finance PMO within the Finance Office of Transformation offers a holistic framework and an array of services for strategic planning and project success, helping Finance further achieve durable growth. We provide business process improvement leadership, portfolio management, project delivery excellence, and end-to-end process and system visibility all in support of Finance’s multi-year strategy.

Role Description:

The primary role of the Global Finance PMO Program Manager is to lead the day-to-day operations of the PMO to support that the right work is being done to support Finance’s multi-year transformation strategy. We are a new department, so you’ll be instrumental in standing up our organization as well as build for the future as Finance transforms. You will leverage data-driven insights and standards to drive coordinated planning, resourcing, and reporting, all while building trust with stakeholders along the way. This position will report to Senior Manager, Portfolio Management Office.

You’ll possess a natural collaborative nature while maintaining a logical outlook for execution. You have a track record of building informal teams, being an excellent facilitator and gaining trust.

  • Serve as the day-to-day operations lead for demand to plan operations; including management of demand management, prioritization, project management, and resource management systems and processes (PMO solutions)

  • Implement best practices and standards to ensure consistency and quality across the entire portfolio management function for Finance

  • Build trusted relationships with key teams business leads and leaders across Finance and Business Technology (IT)

  • Identify, develop, and launch new processes, programs and toolkits as our PMO evolves

  • Conduct training and provide support to end users on processes and systems to drive adoption and adherence

  • Drive continuous improvement of PMO methodologies and practices

  • Support material development for Steering Committees

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related relevant areas

  • 5+ years of work experience in project management and/or Finance

  • Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to set priorities and manage multiple programs/processes simultaneously with limited guidance

  • Excellent team player who is able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams

  • Excellent influencing skills and the ability to bring teams together

  • Experience analyzing data and deriving insights to drive process and program recommendations

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with finance operations/processes and Salesforce functions and systems

  • Lean Six Sigma/process improvement experience

  • Change management experience

  • High tech or software industry experience; SaaS industry experience a plus

  • Experience and comfort with Microsoft Office and Google suites
