Job Details

The Global Event Data Operations and Governance Specialist is a key member of our Global Marketing Operations team and will work with cross-functional business stakeholders to gather requirements, manage stakeholders, and drive operational congruence with multiple worldwide teams supporting our Global Event and Experience Portfolio.

Our ideal candidate will have experience working with multiple stakeholder teams, gathering requirements, experience in the technology industry, exceptional analytical skills, and great communication skills. This individual must excel in data analysis, problem-solving, and communication. Must have a proven ability to build relationships in both business and IT functions and demonstrate the ability to act independently and be successful in a team-oriented environment and experience working on the Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple stakeholders across the world- AMER, LACA, EMEA, APAC, JP

  • Conduct requirements gathering and Voice Of the Customer interviews

  • Manage meeting agendas and run certain meetings as directed

  • Investigate data issues and potential deep-dive analyses to help guide IT project requirements for issue resolution

  • Manage monthly reporting showing data errors within our application

  • Partner closely with event platform users from various business teams to determine priorities and run initiatives as needed

  • Support team in event technology, data operations, and system enhancement recommendations

  • Work with IT, Events, Fields teams to clarify the business process and data needs and provide guidance on the implementation of event data and process-related projects

Required skills/experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 2-4 years of business analyst experience

  • Proficient in Excel

  • Familiar with project management principles

  • Familiar with process improvement methodology (6 Sigma)

  • 2+ years experience working with international stakeholders

  • Salesforce object model & SOQL experience preferred

  • Salesforce Admin Certified preferred

  • Strong experience developing detailed functional, system, and program requirements

  • Experience working and communicating with both information technology and strategic business teams

  • Experience analyzing business processes across multiple data domains (i.e. Customer, Employee, Marketing)

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, lead, and partner across functions and teams

  • Demonstrated self-starter

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high degree of attention to detail

  • Attention to Detail: #your favorite non-profit organization on your resume

  • Ability to tell compelling stories and explain complex issues in simple ways

  • Interest in data and data analysis

  • Ability to manage competing priorities

  • Eager to give feedback as much as to receive it
