Corteva Agriscience is looking for an innovative, energetic, and transformational Information Security Strategy and Planning Lead, a critical position to enable IT to deliver on Corteva’s information security strategy.

The Information Security Strategy and Planning (ISSP) Lead will be responsible for defining and assessing the organization's information security strategy and determining the direction of Corteva’s cybersecurity program. The ISSP lead will work closely with cybersecurity leadership to identify strategic objectives, determine priorities and create strategic plans and road maps for Corteva’s Information Security, Protection & Assurance (ISPA) organization. The ISSP will be responsible for the overall program management of the ISPA organization including financials. The ISSP Lead will need to collaborate with other IT and business leaders to ensure the Information Security strategy tightly aligns to business objectives and priorities. Additional responsibilities include serving as a member of the ISPA leadership team and being prepared to support global incident response efforts as a member of the Cybersecurity Incident Response Team.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities - How will you help us grow?

  • Advise the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) on setting the direction for the Information Security, Protection & Assurance (ISPA) organization; communicate investments, partnerships, and build consensus among senior leaders.

  • Develop, articulate, and refine the Information Security vision.

  • Partner with business leaders to understand and translate information security outcomes related to Corteva’s strategic direction.

  • Develop the ISPA group’s overall information security strategy in alignment with IT strategy and business objectives.

  • Drive Corteva’s cybersecurity program to ensure product road maps align with the overall strategy.

  • Develop meaningful and relevant Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and metrics for each capability area within the ISPA organization.

  • Ensure Cybersecurity projects are prioritized during IT demand planning and project intake.

  • Ensure that all projects that require Cybersecurity input are funneled through the IT demand planning and project intake.

  • Oversee capital and operational budgeting processes.

  • Monitor legislative and regulatory activities for security impacts.

Qualifications

Position Requirements & Critical Experience – What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in project and program management leading complex projects and organizations; 5+ years in a leadership role; Cybersecurity experience is a plus.

  • Educational Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology/management, or related fields are highly desired but not required.

  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

  • Strong project and program management skills.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong ability to engage with a multi-national team and provide personnel coaching and oversight.

  • Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets.

  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques

Other Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP – Project Management Professional.

  • CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional.

  • CISM - Certified Information Security Manager.

  • Experience in strategy, customer service, or consulting.

  • Excellent project and program management skills.

  • Good financial acumen and financial analysis skills.

  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skill.
