Corteva Agriscience is looking for an innovative, energetic, and transformational IT Supply Chain Business Process Expert to lead the adoption of SAP’s S/4 Integrated Business Planning application. The Business Process Expert will have deep process knowledge to help drive existing and new functionality supporting Corteva’s Supply Chain. The IT Supply Chain BPE will work in a project team-based environment to understand business requirements and design enterprise-level, global solutions and drive implementation.
The IT Supply Chain Business Process Expert is a dynamic technology professional who will work closely with the IT leadership, internal teams, business/functions and our vendors to manage the supply chain technology portfolio for Corteva Agriscience.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities - How will you help us grow?
Provide clarity and deep expertise on end-to-end business process areas covering Corteva Agriscience Supply Chain for both the Crop Protection and Seed platforms.
Identify standardization/simplification opportunities and emerging requirements for improving business processes.
Translate process-impacting business needs into specific business requirements.
Work with Corteva Agriscience Supply Chain leadership to align strategic business plans to SAP IBP, APO and SCM7 capabilities.
Support IT Business Partners with estimating benefits to business processes and building a business case.
Partner with Solution Delivery stakeholders to transition investment approvals to project initiation.
Collaborate with Business and IT alike to translate business requirements into functional requirements.
Partner with Digital leads to leverage digital and innovation expertise for process improvements.
Interface with IT Operations to shape release of SAP technology solutions to minimize disruption to business processes.
Engage in vendor discussions when needed to provide expertise on business process areas.
Requirements – What You’ll Bring
Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, engineering or related field.
Overall 10+ years of experience with at least 6-8 years of relevant experience with functional configuration in one or more of the following SAP technologies: IBP, SCM, or ECC MM/PP.
Experience with SAP S/4 environment.
Strong Knowledge of SAP IBP, SCM 7.0 or APO (DP/SNP/GATP/PPDS).
SCM IBP, APO Integration with various logistic modules and their E2E data flow.
Knowledge on implementation & support of SAP, IBP, or APO.
SAP Manufacturing Process & Configuration overview.
Strong experience in IT application support.
Experience working with Agile methodologies.
Partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent teamwork, communication (oral and written) and collaboration skills.
Excellent leadership and influencing skills
Extensive knowledge of ERP applications and the supported business processes.
Ability to learn and upskill on new technologies, processes and applications.
Experience working with Vendors, product road maps and support life cycles.
Detailed understanding of Supply Chain processes.
Strong Knowledge of SAP IBP, SCM 7.0 or APO (DP/SNP/GATP/PPDS).
SCM APO Integration with various logistic modules and their E2E data flow.
Understanding, experience in, or configuration of the base Elements for business planning - Customer, Vendor, Plant, Material, Transportation, Manufacturing.
Understanding, experience in, or configuration of Demand Planning - Segmentation, Forecasting, Statistical Modeling.
Understanding, experience in, or configuration of stock, stock types, and stock calculations - Available, On-hand, Safety, Forecast.
Understanding, experience in, or configuration of Supply Planningo\tPlanning Horizon / Planning Time Fenceo\tMPS, Master Production Schedulingo\tAPS, Aggregate Planning Schedulingo\tMRP, Material Requirement Planningo\tDRP, Distribution Requirements Planningo\tCapacity and/or Cost modeling
Experience / configuration of interfaces of the planning system to the ERP system.
o\tPlanning elements to the ERP system for execution
o\tActual/Historical elements from the ERP system
Work with cross-functional global teams.
Manage externally contracted vendor resources.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge and Understanding of Internal Controls.
