Humana Lab and Testing Support Quality Analyst 2 (virtual remote work from home) in Indianapolis, Indiana

Description

What we are looking for:

The Testing Support role will manage testing activities for Telecom with a focus on developing structures and processes to ensure consistently successful test execution with low percent of incidents and rollbacks -developing test plans, drafting test cases/test scripts, and coordinating testing and deployment cycles.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the role:

*Partner with architects and engineers to develop detailed test plans that identify all components to be tested and stakeholders to include in the process

*Leverage testing templates to draft test cases and test scripts for various testing cycles and deployment testing needs

*Conduct recurring checkpoints with key testing stakeholders during peak project season to provide updates on annual technology roadmaps and communicate upcoming testing needs

*Manage coordination of pre-testing and deployment testing activities (as required)

*Manage the maintenance of testing templates and documentation and support special testing projects designed to improve and enhance Telecom testing capabilities

*Evaluate key performance metrics for testing activities and partner with other Telecom team members to develop (or expand upon) a testing performance scorecard

Weekly/Biweekly Cadence:

*Conduct recurring checkpoints with testing stakeholders to inform them of upcoming change plans and testing needs (monthly during heightened awareness periods)

*Manage coordination of pre-testing and deployment testing activities (as required)

Monthly Cadence:

*Review and update Testing templates and documentation to reflect lessons learned and agreed upon best practices (if required)

*Review and update Test Lab documentation and coordinate incremental lab upgrades as required

Quarterly Cadence:

*Review call volume forecasts and evaluate whether changes may be needed to meet anticipated capacity needs

*Coordinate with technical stakeholders to review technical roadmaps across teams and identify any changes or upcoming projects that may require Telecom testing

*Review testing team KPIs and OKRs to determine if any adjustments should be made to standard testing templates or processes

Annual Cadence:

*Manage annual load testing activities for Telecom and BPO partner infrastructure to prepare for upcoming AEP Season

Required Qualifications

  • Approx 2-5 years of related experience in QA/Test Coordination

  • Performs and leads tests of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
