You will utilize your strong technical competencies and functional business expertise to identify, evaluate, and develop systems and procedures that meet business user requirements and comply with general IT and Finance audit guidelines. To do this successfully, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, and IT development to provide automated solutions. An ability to understand business process issues and communicate technical solutions to the internal client is essential to your success in this role. Project management skills and a customer service orientation are key skill sets.
Focus primarily on individual business processes and systems supporting the Sales Compensation function, and interact with Finance and IT Compliance teams.
Support the team in identifying, verifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvement and process re-engineering opportunities.
To support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identification of better ways of working
Business Functional Knowledge:
Collaborate with business users to define processes that meet business needs.
Ensure processes are scalable and flexible to meet future business needs.
Design processes that can be implemented with minimal disruption to supporting systems and are cost effective.
Anticipate the needs of stakeholders affected by process change and ensure that proposed changes represent the best overall fit for the organization.
Create business process documents (process guides, templates)
Coordinate with IT Compliance, Sales Compensation, and Comp Systems teams to manage the development process and resolve issues.
Prepare and execute testing plans to ensure high quality results.
Monitor implemented systems and processes to ensure high performance.
Serve as a resource to super users for education on processes
Document and communicate status updates to team members and Management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills and process documentation.
Experience working with IT development staff on software development projects and Agile/Scrum, in particular, the requirements gathering phase
Strong analysis, project management, and reporting capabilities.
Experience with Xactly or other compensation systems is preferred, but not required.
Education & Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience is required. 6 to 8 years of experience is preferred.
A Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree required; Finance or Information Technology is preferred.
Agile certifications preferred: Certified Scrum Master, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner
