Successful integration of our acquired companies is a key aspect in Salesforce’s ability to continue our fast growth and scale towards becoming a $50B+ company. The Manager of M&A Data Strategy Program Management will be responsible for guiding our acquired companies on the journey of data strategy and operational integration, acting as a trusted partner and advocate throughout the M&A integration life cycle, with a focus on maximizing value to accelerate growth for Salesforce.

Specifically, you will lead data integration & strategy for Salesforce mergers & acquisitions, work with business leaders to analyze integration requirements that impact our go to market planning, and deliver recommendations to improve and scale Salesforce’s data integration methodology. You must excel in building and sustaining executive relationships, understand technical concepts and communicate your recommendations to senior-level executives, roll-up your sleeves to help drive implementation, and manage your projects’ impact end to end.

You should have a proven record of innovation, program management, and strategic project delivery. You have a passion for driving scale, effectiveness and productivity, data-based problem solving, and process improvement methodologies. You should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, unstructured “start-up” style, team-oriented organizational structure while leading diverse stakeholder groups.


  • Define and execute the integration strategy of customer data migration tracks for each acquisition including but not limited to customer account governance and account data certification; and process and system integration milestone deliverables across lead-to-cash processes.

  • Develop trusted partnerships with all internal stakeholders to help build strategies and action plans that enable success for Salesforce and acquired company

  • Lead multiple projects and maintain responsibility for project management, team leadership, analysis, strategy development, implementation, training, and adoption

  • Accountable for on-time delivery and progress completion of project plans; and identify and resolve roadblocks to ensure integration strategy success

  • Manage UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance sign-off

  • Prepare user documentation and training documentation as necessary

  • Partner effectively with cross-functional Go-to-Market, Finance, Operations, IT and Product teams

  • Identify improvement opportunities related to process or system-based challenges

  • Build executive presentations, crafting the message for senior leadership

  • Work to improve our data integration practices and maturity; continuously standardize and refine the M&A data strategy integration playbooks and cross-functional communications with a lens towards solutions frameworks.


  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 5+ years of experience

  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects from definition to results

  • Proven ability to build executive level relationships

  • Experienced business process re-engineering expert

  • Demonstrated ability to scale and improve business processes

  • Experience working and communicating with both information technology and strategic business teams

  • Strong understanding of merger & acquisitions, go to market and data integration concepts

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high degree of attention to detail

  • Ability to tell compelling stories and explain complex issues in simple ways

  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities

  • Sound business judgment

  • Demonstrated self-starter

Preferred skills and experience:

  • MBA or Master's degree in an analytical field

  • PMP Certified

  • Salesforce product(s) experience

  • Google Suite, Smartsheet, Lucid Chart, & other project management tool experience

  • Experience working with geographically dispersed workforces
