Live Nation Manager of Design in Indianapolis, Indiana

Job Summary:

Primary Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, prepares and coordinates conceptual plans, reviews venue design and construction contract bid documents and specifications for projects applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials. Prepares, reviews, and integrates planning and construction policies and procedures in accordance with Live Nation’s business needs and directives. Coordinates furniture design, selection and procurement to align with project design aesthetic.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares concept designs, specifications and presentations for projects.

  • Coordinates development of project design with external consultants as needed.

  • Creates furniture plans, selects furnishings, prepares budgets and coordinates orders for projects.

  • Prepares and reviews plans, construction bid documents and specifications for major and minor capital improvement projects and for alteration and renovation projects.

  • Develops project scope and cost and reviews this with the business unit to ensure the project meets business objectives.

  • Prepares, reviews, and integrates construction planning policies and procedures.

  • Monitors construction progress through on-site inspection and review.

  • Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.

  • Ability to design and plan major construction projects.

  • Ability to prepare concept designs, specifications and presentations for projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture; 3-5 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

  • experience working on venue related build outs, expansions and/or improvements preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills.

  • Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, AutoCAD and Powerpoint.
