Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director, Marketing Services, the candidate is responsible for leading the pricing , package, and promotions strategy, including all consumer research, performance analysis, and planning activities supporting Marketing and Sales teams’ objectives to grow new customer acquisition in residential and small-business. In partnership with the marketing leadership team, the ideal candidate is a master of cross-functional leadership, a practiced decision-maker, a determined problem solver, and is highly capable of navigating competing demands while executing business priorities. The Manager must operate at tactical, strategic, and operational levels; the Manager regularly handles the oversight of projects that do not neatly fit within the organizational chart or fall between departmental areas of responsibility. This leader must be extraordinarily nimble in helping meet timely business needs or gaps in leadership and accountability.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Translates business objectives for new customer acquisition, revenue, and profitability into a quarterly and annual price/packaging/promotional strategy.

  • Supports the development and implementation of price/packaging/promotional strategy with data and fact-based executive recommendations, in coordination with all other stakeholders (Finance, Analytics, Research, Channels).

  • Partners with Finance to establish standardized approaches to pricing, price discounting, packaging, and promotions.

  • Partners with internal and external resources to design and synthesize market research (both primary and secondary) to identify emerging trends, competitive positions, changing consumer trends, and demand opportunities and risks.

  • Evaluates market demand, competitive strategies, and subscriber data to anticipate market trends and proactively recommend services pricing, packaging, and promotions supporting overall marketing strategy (Brand and Direct Response).

  • Builds a robust-pipeline of test ideas – partners with marketing and sales channels to implement, track, and report test results.

  • Develops complete business case, including full financial models to support Marketing and Sales teams’ objectives for price/packaging/promotional efforts.

  • In partnership with Marketing Communications, leads creation and distribution of monthly playbooks.



BS in Marketing or related field

Skills & Knowledge:

  • 5 years’ experience in a related field or position

  • Proven track record in successfully growing subscription-based services and financial metrics

  • Able to demonstrate authority to make decisions in a matrixed organization

  • Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments

  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity

  • Proven success in a project coordination role

  • Nimble with a focus on developing creative solutions

  • Highly proficient in data and analytics

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills – written and verbal

  • Are a leader and team player, able to work closely, cross-functionally, and to anticipate and react to changes quickly

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, predominantly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
