Kelly Services Mechanical Engineer - Entry Level in Indianapolis, Indiana

Kelly Engineering Resources has an excellent DIRECT HIRE Project Engineer (Mechanical) role with an industry leader in Indianapolis, IN. This position offers competitive compensation, growth potential and a positive work environment

Project Engineer Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage projects through the product life cycle

  • Interact with cross-functional groups- design, manufacturing, quality

  • Discuss product applications with customers and offer technical solutions.

  • Review customer requirements in the form of drawings and/or other information and select the product materials and manufacturing methods which will meet the needs of the customer.

  • Direct the development of product models and drawings to describe the company's product and/or work with the customer to ensure that their drawings adequately describe the product to be made.

  • Prepare all documents needed by tooling and manufacturing departments to build tooling, make parts and inspect parts.

Project Engineer Job Requirements:

  • BS Degree in an Engineering discipline

  • 1-2 years of experience in product design and/or manufacturing
