Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:

QuEST is seeking a Modeler/Detailer to join our high energy, fast-paced, growing team in Indianapolis. This position performs typical modeling and drafting activities that include creation and modification of NX models and drawings as well as modification of raster definitions.

  • Create NX models form raster definitions

  • Modify existing NX models

  • Create and modify NX drawings based on NX models

  • Modify existing raster definitions

  • Familiarity with Siemens NX software for modeling and drafting

  • Familiarity with Raster and Autocad software

  • Proficiency of the MS Office Suite with good writing skills


  • Associate’s Degree in Drafting and Design or equivalent experience

  • Product Definition Interpretation

  • Technical writing skills

  • Siemens NX and AutoCAD


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Drafting and Design

  • GD&T Knowledge

  • Geomagic Design X Knowledge

Typical Career Paths

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Mostly Office Environments.

  • Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.

  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

  • Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PM

  • Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations, if required.
